Double-Your-Impact $200,000 Matching Challenge
As a donor, you make possible incredible performances here in Walnut Creek. You put smiles on the faces of young student musicians in an at-risk community just a few miles away in San Pablo—and you boost their test scores for a brighter future. Your support gives opportunity to emerging artists and composers, including many homegrown talents. Together, we are bringing together our diverse community through the shared language and love of music.
Your gift during the fall CONNECTIONS matching campaign underpins the California Symphony’s 2019-20 season of concerts, music education, and community engagement programs. And when you donate during the challenge, your impact is doubled, with all gifts matched dollar-for-dollar up to $200,000 through October 31.
What Does Your Gift Support
- From Beethoven to Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, and Vivaldi, a series of exciting concerts performed by this world-class, professional orchestra under the direction of Music Director Donato Cabrera—all right here in Walnut Creek.
- Sound Minds – Intensive music lessons and the chance to learn an instrument provided at no cost to families, changing the lives of local children who live in an economically-challenged community and for whom music education is truly a transformative force.
- Emerging composers and soloist talent, experiencing the bright lights at center stage and developing their careers.
Your Impact Doubled
Give by October 31 and California Symphony supporter Sharon Simpson will match your gift, dollar-for-dollar, up to $200,000, so your impact is doubled!
