Noah Strick

Violinist Noah Strick has appeared in performances throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, China, and South America, and can be seen regularly in a variety of performing arts organizations throughout the Bay Area. Critics have described his playing succinctly as “keen” and “suave.” Mr. Strick has had the privilege to be involved with performances at numerous summer festivals, including the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center, Tanglewood, the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Caramoor, the American Bach Soloists’ Festival & Academy, and the Astoria Music Festival in Oregon.

As a baroque violinist, Mr. Strick most frequently performs with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and often serves as concertmaster for California Bach Society and Chora Nova. Equally comfortable on modern violin, he is a member of the California Symphony, and formerly served as Associate Concertmaster for Berkeley Symphony. When he’s not working, he spends his time riding bicycles in Marin County, inside on Zwift, or to and from the excellent produce markets in the Sunset District of San Francisco, where he lives.

Mr. Strick holds degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. His principal teachers include Kyung Sun Lee, Marilyn McDonald, and Bettina Mussumeli.
