We’ll have to wait until May 5 to hear the world premiere of Composer-in-Residence Katherine Balch’s violin concerto, Artifacts, but in the meantime here is a look at the virtuosic violinist, Robyn Bollinger, performing Bach’s Ciaccona.
BRUCKNER – SYMPHONY NO. 7
Is it the lyricism or the big sound that makes Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7 one of his best known works and a favorite of music director Donato Cabrera? Before we hear maestro conduct the massive masterpiece, here is Herbert von Karajan conducting Bruckner’s 7th Symphony with the Vienna Philharmonic.

Music Director Donato Cabrera leads a free, 30-minute pre-concert talk for ticketholders, starting an hour before each show. Main floor tickets start at $42 and $20 for students 25 and under with valid Student ID.
